HISTORY
Ealing Judo Club was established on April 10th 2003. On this day our first class was attended by 15 children from the local area. That beginners' class is now thriving and has naturally progressed into the four classes we now run each week. Our total membership is up to 95 and is growing all the time.
We entered our first tournament in only May of that same year, 2003. Little Joe Wood fought in the Ford Mini-Mon. Since then we have increased our competition schedule to approximately 45 events per year, including family trips to Belgium, France, Holland and Italy.
Our first National medal came in April 2004, with our Juliet being selected to fight in the London Area Girls' Team at the National Team Championships at Burgess Hill. The team took silver.
Since then we have added to the list, with a total of 24 medals from 13 different fighters and are looking forward to continuing with a fantastic 2008.
We now have a thriving Adult Class and an extremely healthy Beginners' Class. Everything in between is looking pretty tasty too! If you would like to visit or join us please contact us via the details on the Home Page.
